新坡佛教社群基金会成立于1990年1月13日据[社团法令]注册成立，注册号码ROS181/1989REL,并于1994年3月11日注册为慈善团体，注册号码是01009，负责管理悉达多托儿中心及执行佛总的文教育社会福利计划，主要宗旨是为了协助解除大众的苦难，具体的内容可大略分为以下几项：

• 救济火灾、水灾、饥荒、战争、瘟疫或任何其他天灾的灾民。
  Extending assistance to victims of disasters such as flood, famine, pandemic, war.
• 救助因年老、体弱、灾祸而无法供养自己及其他家属的贫穷人士。
  Offering help to individuals, who are not able to work due to old age, sickness or accidents, and their family members.
• 资助或设立及管理奖/助学金以鼓励各中小学、高中、工艺学院及大学生等
  Awarding bursaries to students from primary to tertiary levels.
• 资助或协助与基金会宗旨相同或类似的慈善机构，包括医院、疗养院、难民营与避难所、学校、 孤儿院、图书馆、大学、工业福利机构等。
  Supporting organisations that share similar objectives as the Foundation such as hospitals, educational institutions, refugee camps, orphanages, etc.
• 捐助教育、文化及宗教机构或团体。
  Sponsoring educational, cultural and religious organisations.

The main sources of income for the Foundation are membership subscription fees and donations from members and the public. Presently, a new member pays $100.00 as membership entrance fee and annual membership fee is also $100.00. If you are interested in joining us, please call us at 67444635.
