新加坡佛教总会基金会招募会员

实行佛法能给世间带来稳定与和谐。本会秉承教主释迦牟尼佛的慈悲与智慧，利用有限的资源积极推动净化人心与社会关怀的工作。此等事业，有赖於教育与社会福利的推广，才能达到目标，这是劳心劳力的百年大计。本会一向凭着只问耕耘不问收获的信念，勇往直前。

由于基金会会员人数少，力量有限，这些年来收入差强人意，除了开办悉达多太子托儿中心及颁发常年助学金给贫困好学的中小学生外，只在国内外有天灾人祸时，才向大众呼吁捐献义款，救济需要帮助的人。最近本会虽想为面对经济困境的国人伸出援手，却有心无力。

众志成城，世间任何伟大的事业都是众缘所聚。因此本会诚邀台端加入基金会为会员（入会费$100/=，会员年捐$100/=)，集思广益，积聚十方善心力量，共同成就社会福利事业。附上申请入会表格，恳请填妥，呈交或邮寄新加坡佛教总会基金会。若有疑问，烦电佛总基金会王成容女士，电话67444635。

Membership Drive

Practising the Lord Buddha’s teachings brings peace and harmony to this world. Based on Lord Buddha’s teachings on compassion and wisdom, the Foundation aims to utilise its resources for cultivating purified minds and developing caring community services. These targets could only be achieved through many years of continuous and relentless efforts for the promotion of education and support for welfare services.

Due to the small number of membership, the resources the Foundation has are rather limited. Besides operating Prince Siddhartha Childcare Centre and awarding bursaries to needy primary and secondary students annually, the Foundation could only provide aids through ad-hoc public donation drives for victims of worldwide calamities. That is to say, it is beyond the capability of the Foundation to offer substantial assistance to fellow citizens who face financial difficulties during economic downturns.

All truly worthy achievements can only be accomplished through the combined efforts of many. As such, the Foundation would like to invite you and your organisation to join us as members. With an enlarged membership, we would be able to do much more for charity and community work. (Both the entrance fee and the yearly subscription is $100.)
